Pinay Summit

To celebrate International Women’s Day, we partnered with leading non-profit organization representing female-led Filipino business across Toronto, Pinay Tayo.

For this engagement, Pwrforward co-designed, facilitated and executed programming that brought Filipina leaders together.

Through panel discussions and insightful small group conversations, attendees connected with like-minded individuals, gained inspiration from dynamic speakers, and participated in meaningful dialogues about diversity and empowerment. The event was a powerful celebration of community and a testament to the strength and resilience of women.

Meryenda Mixer

Meryenda Mixer is an ongoing series designed by Pwrforward for Filipino professionals and entrepreneurs to connect with peers in their industry.

In partnership with local businesses and community hubs, we provide a space to share experiences, engage in meaningful conversations, and expand professional networks. The aim is to foster growth, collaboration, and support within the Filipino community.

FESTii

Hosted by LiFE DESIGN in July 2024, FESTii was a celebration of streetwear, music, and creative culture. The event, which embodied the passion, creativity, and innovative spirit of the Filipino community, brought together musicians and artists from Toronto, California and Manila.

With support from Pwrforward’s comprehensive programming execution, event management, volunteer management, operations and digital marketing solutions, LiFE DESIGN’s vision came to life. Together, we filled a significant gap in the city and elevated the extraordinary creativity of Filipinos globally.

  • We develop strategies to maintain and strengthen connections within the Filipino community. This includes planning follow-up events, fostering online engagement, and implementing feedback to continually support and uplift the community.
